Mountains raised me, the ocean found me, and now I’m lucky enough to photograph weddings and elopements from Tofino and Ucluelet to wherever your love takes us.
I’m a serial feeler, forever romantic, and I will be wiping my eyes behind the camera before your vows even start (it happens every time... I’ve stopped pretending it won’t).
I care less about stiff poses and more about the way your hands find each other without thinking. The deep breaths. The chaos. The quiet. The kind of moments you don’t realize are sacred until you see them frozen in time.
I want you to feel 300% yourselves with me: wildly in love, deeply vulnerable, or completely unhinged on the dance floor. Your only job is to love each other. I’ll handle the rest.

Our elopement photos look amazing, and they feel just like the day felt! We're so happy Mariana was our photographer, and we had so much fun working with her. She helped us pick out the perfect spot on the beach, and sent us map pins on where to park, etc. so we were comfortable and confident.

Do you only photograph in Tofino, Ucluelet and Port Alberni?
No! I photograph weddings and elopements all across Vancouver Island, and often beyond! You'll find me often in Parksville, Coombs, Duncan, Nanaimo, etc. Wherever your love story takes you, I’m there.
Do you photograph big weddings too, or just small weddings and elopements?
I specialize in intimate weddings and elopements; celebrations where connection, emotion, and experience come first. That said, I do take on a few slightly larger weddings each year if they align with my style and approach.
What’s your photography style?
My work is natural, emotive, cinematic, and storytelling-driven. I focus on genuine connection and movement, capturing the real moments that make your relationship uniquely yours.
When will we receive our final edited photos?
You'll receive your sneak peak gallery 72 business hours after your event so you can relive it and share it with the world. Your fully gallery will be delivered to you 5 weeks after your event.
What happens if it rains on our day?
Rain is part of the magic of the coast, and honestly, it’s beautiful. Some of my favorite photos have been taken under soft Tofino drizzle or wild west coast storms. I’ll help you embrace whatever the weather brings.
Can you help us choose a location for our photos?
Definitely. From secret forest trails to quiet beaches, I know this coastline by heart. I’ll share location ideas based on your vibe, season, and how adventurous you want to get.
We’ve never been in front of a professional camera, and we're nervous we will we feel awkward.
Honestly, most couples I photograph are stepping in front of a professional camera for the first time. That’s totally normal! My approach is relaxed and natural. I guide you gently, focus on movement and connection, and make sure the whole experience feels fun and authentic.
Do you charge for travel?
I do not charge travel to Tofino, Ucluelet or Port Alberni. Beyond that, travel is calculated at $0.75 per KM beyond Port Alberni, and a simple stay at a 3 or 4 star hotel.
