T + M travelled from Vancouver to Tofino to elope on the coast, choosing Mackenzie Beach for its quiet shoreline and open view of the evening sky.
The day had that classic west coast chill to it, the kind where the air is crisp and the wind reminds you you’re standing right on the edge of the Pacific. It was cold, but completely worth it. As the sun began to drop, golden light spread across the beach and everything softened for a moment.
We wandered along the sand as the light changed, stopping wherever the colours in the sky and the reflections in the water felt right. Mackenzie Beach has a way of doing that during golden hour, the light stretches across the water, the waves settle, and the whole place feels calm.
For T + M, the focus of the evening was simply being together and marking the beginning of this new chapter of their lives. A quiet celebration, surrounded by ocean air and the kind of west coast light that makes moments like this feel even more memorable.
At the couple’s request, photos of their faces have not been included in this gallery.
