T + D came out to Tofino on their babymoon, making the drive from Canmore and stopping along the way, slowly making their way to the coast. It felt intentional, like they were really taking in this chapter before a new one begins with baby boy.
This evening was everything the coast is known for: fog rolling in, a soft mist in the air, and that moody, quiet atmosphere that settles over the beach. The kind of weather that doesn’t ask for anything from you except to slow down and be in it. And they loved it. Their pup Sadie was right there with them, running along the shoreline, weaving into moments, and bringing a sense of playfulness to the calm.
We wandered without much of a plan, letting the session unfold naturally. The fog softened everything, the ocean blended into the sky, and time felt like it stretched just enough for them to really take it all in.
There’s something special about a babymoon. It’s not just a trip, it’s this in-between space. You’re still the two of you, but you’re also already becoming more. T + D are right on the edge of that change, holding onto these quiet, misty moments together before stepping into something entirely new, with their little boy already so deeply loved.
